Wednesday Sourdough
Sourdough is naturally leavened bread. Our homemade starter – a fermented flour and water mixture – makes the dough rise instead of commercial yeast. At Boule Boulder, this dough is typically given two days to develop its rich taste and texture. The longer fermentation process breaks down part of the gluten, making it easier to digest for some people. Despite the term sourdough, we aim at a mild and balanced flavor of our artisanal boules.
Order your sourdough boules from Saturday until Tuesday.
They will be ready to eat on Wednesday.
